The iris was designated as Tennessee's State flower in 1933. There are about 170 species of iris available in many different colors. Even though the state of Tennessee did not name a particular color, the purple iris is considered to be the state flower.

This tea set if made of Fine Porcelain and is hand decorated in the USA. Included in the set are a 6 cup teapot, 4 cups and saucers, creamer and sugar, and a 14" tray. All pieces are accented with gold trim.
